At this moment the greater part this internet site is not available in other languages besides dutch. Nevertheless we think you will find some interesting information when you try the buttons on the left side of the screen. A brief introduction to Van der Wees Watertransporten B.V.

As a transport company founded in 1907 specializing in transport on the inland waterways between Delft and Dordrecht in The Netherlands, we have grown into a leading player on the European Exceptional Transport Market.
The Roll-on Roll-off principle, widely known on English Channel ferries, has been developed for European river and canal purposes using flattop as well as drive-in pontoons. Transports of 800 tonnes and above have recently been carried out in this manner. Our flattop pontoons are all certified for seagoing purposes, enabling us to carry out international transport crossing North European seas or beyond. Beach landings have been carried out at several places among which Hastings (UK). In addition to executing transports of for instance transformers, turbines, harbour cranes, vessels, columns and airplanes we have regularly assisted the installation and removal of bridges and roro link spans.

Our fleet includes flat top pontoons in various sizes and capacities. These pontoons are optimised for executing exceptional transports and can be equipped with additional equipment when a specific project requires this. We also would like to bring our drive-in pontoon “Lastdrager 19” to your attention. This pontoon is designed for transports on inland waterways providing a shallow air draught in combination with the ro-ro method of loading and discharging. Furthermore we would like to mention our submersible pontoon “Lastdrager 27” for inland and seagoing transports. This pontoon is designed for loading and discharging floating cargo such as ships/yachts, ship sections and dredgers but has proven to be very useful for other types of projects as well.

In order to provide our customers with a trouble-free transportation service we back up our fleet and experienced crew with our transport engineering facilities using up to date and custom build software.
